The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has started regular coordination meetings with international partners involved in reforming the state-owned enterprises sector and developing corporate governance in the country.
The first meeting was held on 1 February. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksii Sobolev. The meeting was also attended by representatives of international organisations, including: EBRD, USAID/UKAid SOERA Project, USAID, Expertise France, the EU project Pravo-Justice, OECD, IMF, and the EU Delegation.
“Improving the management of state property is one of the priority tasks for the Ministry of Economy. A large number of international organisations are involved in the reform, providing their technical and expert support. We are sincerely grateful for their assistance and cooperation and propose to start regular coordination meetings to strengthen our interaction,” said Oleksii Sobolev.
The meetings will be a place to share the experience of all partners in implementing the reform. They will also be a tool for coordinating actions and joint planning.
