The occupier's actions in Ukraine violate international environmental law, human rights, nuclear security and global peace.
This was announced to the world community by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Roman Shakhmatenko during the Second Part of the 5th Session of the UN Environment Assembly.

However, Ukrainian foresters, watermen, state environmental inspectors, Natural Reserve Fund workers, units of the SES of Ukraine and local authorities are doing everything to protect Ukraine's environment from the consequences of the occupier's actions. Man-made accidents are quickly localized. Therefore, the health of Ukrainians is not endangered at the moment.
