The chemical parameters of water in the Dnipro River are within normal limits, and no petroleum products have been detected. At the same time, according to the results of the study conducted the day before, the content of dissolved oxygen in the water continues to increase and ranges from 3.52 mg/dm3 to 6.23 mg/dm3, depending on the point of intake, while the norm is 4.00 mg/dm3.
No excess of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants was recorded in the Ingulets River and the Dnipro-Bug Estuary, but there is a slight turbidity of water.
The State Ecological Inspectorate also discovered fish kills near the village of Lysohirka in Zaporizhzhia region.
As a reminder, experts from the State Environmental Inspectorate, the State Water Agency and mobile laboratories test water exclusively for chemical composition. Testing water for sanitary and microbiological indicators lies within the competence of the Ministry of Health.
