This week all regions of Ukraine are in the "green" epidemiological zone, which means easing quarantine restrictions. According to a joint decision of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ministry of Health, from now on it will not be necessary to install  “Diy Vdoma” (Act at Home) mobile app when returning from abroad to Ukraine.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the  Public Health Center launched the abovesaid mobile app in April last year. The Ministry of Digital Transformation developed the technical part. The Diy Vdoma” (Act at Home) app provided people with the opportunity to undergo self-isolation at home in comfortable conditions. During this time, almost 1 million people downloaded this app.

It was used by citizens returning from abroad. After all, according to a government decree, people who came from abroad were required to undergo mandatory 14-day self-isolation.

For people returning from abroad, application installation was voluntary. Due to the application, it was possible to pass self-isolation in a place chosen by a person. This period could be spent in a specific place of observation, such as a hotel or people could send a negative COVID-19  PCR test to complete self-isolation.

Although the application will not currently be used when crossing the border of Ukraine, compliance with quarantine restrictions and anti-epidemic measures is still necessary.
