The Ministry of Digital Transformation continues to work on creating the most convenient conditions for business in Ukraine. The service will be available in 5 minutes in the Diia (Action) application or on the portal.

Amid a pandemic, state support is especially relevant for small and medium-sized businesses.

“More than 1 million Ukrainians will receive payments, and the total amount in this area will be UAH 10 billion. Financial assistance will be provided on a one-time basis to sole proprietors and employees who have suspended their work during the quarantine period,” said Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

Sole proprietors or employees will receive assistance if their employer falls into one of the 6 Classification of Economic Activity categories:

4 - Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles

55 - Temporary accommodation

56 - Food and beverage service activities

59.14 - Demonstration of films

90 - Activities in the field of creativity, art and entertainment

93 - Activities in the field of sports, recreation and entertainment

One of the 6 CAE categories must be declared first in the registration information as of 31.10.2020.

The adopted decisions provide for the following:

• assistance to self-employed persons and employees working in areas of activity that may be closed due to quarantine;
• job saving program. In case of intensifying quarantine, employers will be able to receive up to UAH 8,000 in one-time financial assistance for each employee whose working hours are reduced/will be reduced;
• USC initiatives. Businesses that suspend work in case of strict quarantine will be reimbursed for the cost of paying a unified social contribution for employees.

Such assistance in the amount of UAH 8,000 will be available on the portal and in the Diia application. To use the help, one needs to apply on the Diia portal or in the mobile application. It will take up to 5 minutes to complete the application.

After filling out the application and checking it in the registers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, you will receive financial assistance to the personal account. In total, 1.6 million Ukrainians are expected to use the service.

The support program initiated by the President of Ukraine was adopted by the Government and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.
