The comprehensive e-Maliatko service will be available online on the Diia (Action) portal throughout Ukraine by the end of 2020. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on the air of "Ranok z Ukrayinoyu" (Morning with Ukraine) TV program.
Instead of visiting 11 government agencies and collecting 37 different documents, parents can get all the necessary services for a newborn baby on the Diia portal in 20 minutes and without leaving home.
"We do not digitize the Soviet era documents. It seems that for 30 years the state had been doing everything to complicate people's lives. We are currently simplifying it. We are cardinally changing the approach to service delivery. This process is called reengineering. It is due to that the Ministry of Digital Transformation has managed to combine 9 services in e-Maliatko and provide them online on one application," says Mykhailo Fedorov.
Now the e-Maliatko service is available online in 139 settlements in 15 regions: Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolayiv, Odesa, Poltava, Ternopil, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and in Kyiv city. In order to make the e-Maliatko service available online to all Ukrainians, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on the introduction of an electronic medical certificate of birth in all maternity hospitals.
To use the complex of service e-Maliatko online, you must have a qualified electronic signature, which can also be obtained online, for example, from the state-owned PrivatBank. All information available about the citizen will be automatically placed in the electronic office of the citizen. The user just needs to fill in the blank fields of the application - both the child's mother and father can do it.
Thanks to e-Maliatko on the Diia portal, parents can get up to 9 government services. 2 of those are basic - state registration of birth, based on the results of which a child's birth certificate is issued. 7 more services remain optional: assignment of a tax identification number (TIN), entry in the Demographic Register with assignment of a unique record number (URN), determination of the child's citizenship of Ukraine, registration of residence, entry of information in the Register of Patients, appointment of childbirth assistance for a multi-children family. By the end of 2020, a parent and child ID card service for the multi-children families will also be available online.
