Network of military lyceums in Ukraine to be expanded: Denys Shmyhal

On the occasion of the start of the academic year, Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal visited the Ivan Bohun Military Lyceum in Kyiv.

The Head of the Ministry of Defence congratulated the lyceum students and teachers on 1 September.

“Military education is the foundation of the modern Ukrainian armed forces. Knowledge enables victories on the battlefield, showcasing ingenuity, resilience, and resourcefulness during combat operations,” emphasised Denys Shmyhal.

He also wished the lyceum students new achievements and discoveries, hoping that all their bold ideas and aspirations would come to fruition for the benefit of our country.

“We are doing everything to expand the network of military lyceums in Ukraine. The Ministry of Defence is working to ensure that at least one such lyceum is established in every region. There is a strong demand among young people for quality military education, and we will create all the necessary conditions for its development,” the Minister of Defence noted.
