The Government has agreed on the initiative of the Minister of Health Maxym Stepanov to resume planned operations and hospitalizations in Ukraine. Appropriate changes will be included in the ordinance on quarantine measures with an aim to reduce the risk to the lives of patients requiring elective surgery. The Minister announced at a daily briefing by the Ministry of Health.
“As you know, during the quarantine in our country were canceled planned operations, including the hospitalization of patients. We now have a need for planned operations. These will be surgeries necessary for high-risk patients,” Maxym Stepanov stressed.
