Nearly 23,000 Ukrainians applied for Government’s eRobota grant programme
Since the launch of the eRobota programme, the Diia portal has received 22,912 applications for grants in various areas.
The most popular category, “Own business”, allows applicants to receive between UAH 50,000 and 250,000 to start or expand a business. In particular, more than 20,318 applications were received for such microgrants.
Kyiv has the highest demand for microgrants, with 2,382 applications received so far. The regional distribution is as follows:
- Kyiv region – 1,685 applications;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,646 applications;
- Lviv region – 1,526 applications;
- Rivne region – 927 applications.
To receive a grant of up to UAH 8 million for a processing enterprise under the “New Level” category, entrepreneurs submitted 2,141 applications. Most of them, 303, were from Kyiv region. The following regions are also among the leaders:
- Kyiv city – 262 applications;
- Lviv region – 215 applications;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 169 applications;
- Ivano-Frankivsk region – 97 applications.
A total of 453 applications were received for grants to set up a greenhouse under the “Own Greenhouse” category and to arrange a garden under the “Own Garden” category. The majority of applications, 52, came from Kyiv region. Other top regions are:
- Zakarpattia region – 50 applications;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 45 applications;
- Vinnytsia region – 36 applications;
- Ivano-Frankivsk region – 33 applications.
As a reminder, eRobota is a Government programme of non-refundable grants for starting and developing one’s own business. Applications for all components of the programme are currently being accepted. Applications can be submitted through the Diia portal. To apply, candidates must fill in their personal information in electronic form and attach a business plan, a sample of which can be downloaded from the portal.
