The annual event aims to support international coordination in the reconstruction of Ukraine and attract new investments. It is also an important platform for discussing key issues.
The main aspects of the upcoming conference and further bilateral cooperation were discussed by Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Carlo Formosa, Ambassador of Italy to Ukraine, and Davide La Cecilia, Italian Special Envoy for the Reconstruction of Ukraine.

“This is a significant event that supports international coordination in rebuilding our country and attracting new investments, and is an important platform for discussing key issues of reconstruction,” the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine stressed.
The participants of the meeting discussed the role of regions and communities in the reconstruction. They noted the success of the Recovery Forum and roundtable formats, which allow for a wide range of participants, increased business involvement and more practical discussions. To prepare the regions and communities for the conference, it was proposed to hold Road to URC-2025 events in Ukraine and Italy at the beginning of the year.
Davide La Cecilia stressed that this year more business representatives would be involved in the Conference, which should positively contribute to support for Ukraine’s recovery.
The parties also discussed Italy’s participation in the restoration of cultural sites and critical infrastructure in Odesa and Odesa region.
