  • Ukrainian Navy cadets undergo training: more than 3,000 nautical miles sailed

    The Ukrainian Navy Cadets onboard the Ukrainian  Nova Kakhovka, Smila, and Chyhyryn vessels completed 17-day training, sailed more than 3,300 nautical miles, and visited ports in Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria.

    During a welcome ceremony Ukrainian Navy  Commander Vice Admiral Ihor Voronchenko stated “The Ukrainian Navy keep on developing. We have tested the Ukrainian anti-ship missile  to be supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine; we are designing Lan  boat, constructing artillery and assault boats, resuming the  construction of multinational corvette. In this context, you should  be professionals”.

    Vice Admiral Voronchenko stressed the importance of the participation of the Ukrainian sailors in joint training with  Bulgarian, Romanian, and Turkish sailors.
