    Everyone – from high-ranking officials to drivers – will be held accountable, commented Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk on the air of ICTV channel regarding media reports about russia’s intention to deport up to 100,000 Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson region.

    “We are talking about plans for mass deportation. These are signs of genocide. The enemy is in a hurry because it knows that de-occupation is inevitable. There will be de-occupation,” the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

    She reminded that russians will certainly be punished for all illegal actions.

    “I want to appeal to the high-ranking officials of the enemy state. Think carefully before doing it. Not only russia as a state will be responsible. All those involved will be held accountable – from those who made the decisions to drivers who were involved in transporting Ukrainians to the territory of russia,” Iryna Vereshchuk warned.

    Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the russian government had allocated RUB 175 billion to resettle 100,000 people from Kherson region to the russian federation.
