  • Iryna Vereshchuk had working meeting with Krzysztof Paszyk, Minister of Development and Technology of Poland

    Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, met with Krzysztof Paszyk, Minister of Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland. Both officials are co-chairs of the Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Economic Commission.

    At the meeting, they discussed ways to resolve issues that arise during the implementation of potential Polish-Ukrainian economic projects.

    In particular, they considered the issue of Polish investments in the development of border infrastructure and the reconstruction of Ukraine.

    Iryna Vereshchuk commended the effectiveness of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). Since August 2022, the Agency has maintained a register of Polish companies interested in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine. It already includes 3,000 Polish companies.

    In his turn, Krzysztof Paszyk, Minister of Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland, noted that the Polish side considered the experience of cooperation to be successful and intended to continue regular and fruitful dialogue between the governments.

    "I would like to thank the Government of Poland for such coordination and cooperation. I am sincerely grateful that we can continue it and achieve good results," the Deputy Prime Minister concluded.
