On 15 May, Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, together with Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and Denise Brown, UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine, visited a humanitarian hub for citizens evacuating from the dangerous areas of Kharkiv region.

This hub is set up in one of the educational institutions. International, civil society and volunteer organisations are working there to provide humanitarian, psychological and legal assistance, advice on payments and paperwork.

The evacuees are also offered accommodation in temporary accommodation facilities set up on the basis of dormitories of educational institutions.
