De-occupation of Crimea will be discussed in the spring during an international event with the participation of NATO member states. Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, said this during a National Telethon. She added that liberation of the Ukrainian peninsula was being actively discussed at the international level. The issue of the future security model for our country is also being discussed.
According to the official, all these processes are a logical continuation of the first step taken by our country on its way to the North Atlantic Alliance – applying for membership in this organization. Therefore, the liberation of Crimea and further security issues should be considered as a whole. Including jointly with our international partners.
“Leaders of the civilized world, parliamentarians and experts are seriously discussing de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea. In the spring, a major international event will be held on this topic, with the participation of NATO member states. This is very significant and shows support for Ukraine and the correctness of our security choice. Together we can do everything to quickly return Ukraine to Crimea and Crimea to Ukraine,” the Deputy Prime Minister summarized.
