  • Iryna Vereshchuk together with the Minister for the Communities and Territories Development and Minister of Infrastructure to head the commission for the audit of losses caused by the russian federation

    The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has set up a commission to audit the damage caused to Ukraine as a result of russia's armed aggression. The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories had drafted a relevant decision of the Government, which was considered and adopted at a session on 27 May.

    The co-chairs of the commission are appointed Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Oleksii Chernyshov, Minister for Communities and Territories Development, and Oleksandr Kubrakov, Minister of Infrastructure.

    The members of the commission are also the heads of central executive bodies or their deputies. In addition, participation in the work of the commission (with the consent) of the People's Deputies of Ukraine, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, representatives of leading domestic and foreign expert organizations is envisaged.

    It should be noted that among the main tasks of the commission are to develop a methodology for auditing the damage and losses, as well as to prepare and approve draft regulations necessary for their comprehensive assessment.

    Organizational and informational support of the Commission's activities will be provided by the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
