Government has amended the rules for crossing the state border by Ukrainian citizens liable for military service

The Government has amended the rules for crossing the state border by those liable for conscription in Ukraine.

During martial law, border crossing is allowed for the following citizens:

- drivers transporting medical and humanitarian goods, if there are relevant decisions to leave Ukraine outside its borders and if there is information about the person in the relevant information system, the administrator of which is Ukrtransbezpeka (State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety);

- drivers of companies that have transport licenses.

Drivers can stay abroad for no longer than 30 calendar days. Drivers of companies with transport licenses - up to 45 calendar days (on a vehicle with a gross weight of 3,500 kilograms or more).

Employees of railway transport enterprises that ensure the functioning and uninterrupted operation of the railway can be allowed to stay abroad for up to 6 months.

Athletes and coaches (who are included in the national teams of Ukraine in Olympic, non-Olympic sports and sports for people with disabilities; coaches in the national teams, sports judges and other professionals) can stay abroad uninterruptedly for no longer than 30 days.
