Minister for Veterans Affairs Iryna Friz visited the children's center Artek, which is currently hosting 300 children, of them 80 are children of veterans, combatants, who traveled to the center due to the assistance of NGO "Hearts of the Cyborgs". The children came from all over the country. "This is our third visit to Artek, only children from Poltava were not able to arrive due to weather conditions, snowstorms. In general, over a period of 3 years, we have sent 250 children of our defenders to Artek," Anatoliy Svyryd, Head of NGO "Hearts of the Cyborgs" said.
Iryna Friz assured that a separate department will be created to work with the families of the fallen. "We lack professional crisis psychologists in our country. But there are international partners who are ready to come and conduct trainings with our specialists. At the moment, I am keen on cooperating, I am ready to engage in our initiatives in order to provide assistance and support to the families of the fallen heroes", the Minister stressed.
During a visit to the international children's center "Artek," Iryna Friz got familiarized with training classes, educational, recreational and artistic programs for children and she also received a calendar with photos of the children of Ukrainian defenders "Hearts of the Cyborgs".
