Today, March 11, the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Ihor Petrashko met with representatives of member companies of the European Business Association online.
During the one-and-a-half-hour event, participants had the opportunity to learn about the steps and plans of the Ministry to stimulate economic development and expand business access to financial resources, as well as get answers to specific questions.
"We focus on increasing the availability of financial resources for small and medium-sized businesses. We will expand existing programs, such as "Available Loans at 5-7-9%", as well as introduce new ones. In addition, with the restart of the Export Credit Agency, Ukrainian companies will have greater opportunities for successful competition in world markets," said Ihor Petrashko.
During the meeting, a number of topical issues that currently concern the business community was tackled. In particular, on deregulation and harmonization of national legislation with EU legislation, issues of international trade, export/import of certain groups of goods, including timber, anti-dumping investigations. In addition, the participants discussed the situation on the dairy market, reduction of VAT to 14% for farmers and state support for agricultural producers.
