This involves the supply of additional cogeneration plants and modular boiler rooms for the capital.

As part of the work of the Headquarters for the Elimination of the Consequences of the Emergency in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Region, the capital is being reinforced with additional sources of distributed generation with the support of communities and international partners. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine - Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, Oleksii Kuleba.

"This week, our long-term partner GIZ will deliver two cogeneration units with a capacity of 1.5 MW and 2.3 MW to Kyiv. Separately, support is coming from Ukrainian communities. Kryvyi Rih is transferring two cogeneration units with a total capacity of 2 MW, Kherson is transferring three block-modular boiler rooms that add more than 2 MW, and Zaporizhzhia is transferring two cogeneration units with a capacity of 2.5 MW each. I would like to thank the communities and partners who, even under constant shelling, are finding ways to support the capital. It is this mutual assistance that allows us to withstand the recent wave of russian terror," Oleksii Kuleba emphasized.

This equipment will primarily be used for schools and central heating stations that provide heat to residential buildings.
