Gas PSO for the population extended until April 30, 2023

At today's meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution "On Amendments to the Regulation on Imposition of Public Service Obligations (PSO) on Natural Gas Market Participants to Ensure Public Interests in the Process of Natural Gas Market Functioning."

The document provides for the extension of the term of sale of natural gas by "Gas Supply Company "Naftogaz Trading" LLC to suppliers of natural gas for domestic consumers as part of the fulfillment of a special obligation until April 30, 2023.

"The extension of the term of the special obligation will allow ensuring a reliable, uninterrupted, and safe supply of natural gas, the safety, and reliability of the functioning of the natural gas market and the energy system of Ukraine", stressed the Minister of Energy German Galushchenko.
