Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stands for conducting an audit of the country's defense industry and, in particular, the Ukroboronprom state-run enterprise. The Head of Government said during the Government sitting.

According to the Prime Minister, a country at war needs a corruption-free, transparent and accountable military industrial sector.

"It is important for us to understand how the Ukroboronprom state-run enterprise functions. Each hryvnia that is spent there is the money of the Ukrainian people. Everything that is not a secret there should be open for people", said Volodymyr Groysman. "Within 10 days, it is necessary to complete the negotiation procedures with audit firms, determine the winner and launch a public financial audit of the Ukroboronprom enterprise. It will be fair and responsible with regards to the society and the military."

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has been authorized to coordinate all the actions.
