Prime Minister: I hope the first decision of the Central Election Commission will be to set up the date for holding elections in CC

The Head of Government announced on air of one of the central TV channels.
"It is important that the Verkhovna Rada, on the proposal of the President of Ukraine, approved a new composition of the Central Election Commission. Undoubtedly, there will be a great work ahead related to the preparation for the Presidential and Parliamentary elections. But there is a problem that needs to be solved immediately. It's about elections in CCs, in which people want to be stronger", the Prime Minister stressed.

The Prime Minister stressed that this is not just blocking of the elections. "This is an attempt to put a halt on one of the key reforms. And for me it's not just another change. I am ready to be further committed to the decentralization, but it is necessary to conduct this process at all stages", he underscored.
