In the framework of pursuing the policy of establishing order in the system of public finances, the Government of Ukraine opens a new page in the work of the State Fiscal Service with the target of filling the state budget as a guiding principle. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a conference call in the office of the SFS.
"I won’t accept the current state of affairs with filling the state budget. Unfortunately, certain SFS employees have become part of a system of plundering the country. There are two options: either you adhere to the principle of making Ukraine strong, or leave your positions during this day", stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
He highlighted that his position has been and still remains clear. "Numbers show: we have substantial reserves that are to be mobilized to the state budget. At that, honest businesses should feel the support and have rapid service so that to avoid any problems", said Volodymyr Groysman. "The Government will support all those who work in earnest. It is a privilege to serve the State. If you take it as your own business, you will always be effective."
The Prime Minister stressed that efficiency should be demonstrated first and foremost at the customs that fell under the "Ukraine without smuggling" campaign. "Day to day we will analyze revenues, value, cargoes, etc. You cannot work – just quit. There cannot be kingpins here. I need a result, and my words should become a guideline", the Head of Government stressed.
During the meetings the PM informed that the Government, on the proposal of the SFS leadership and acting Minister of Finance, decided to appoint the acting Deputy heads Bambizov Yevgen, who headed the Office of Large Taxpayers of the State Fiscal Service, and Kryvytsky Viktor, who prior to this appointment headed of the Volyn Customs of the SFS.
"I will defend everyone who is right, whatever it takes. I am grateful to those who serve the State. Overcome fear and get working. Get back to work - I expect the result", added the Prime Minister.
