Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman advocates for the substantial and effective support for farming enterprises which are the basis of agribusiness.The Head of Government  announced during festivities on the occasion of the All-Ukrainian day of the field and garden held in Ternopil region. The Prime Minister is paying a working visit to the region.

"I am here to emphasize the importance of your work," the Head of Government said to the farmers. - Ukraine should become an economically strong state, then we will solve many problems that have been accumulated for decades. This is precisely why the role of agribusiness is vitally important. To that end, we are introducing fair tools for the honest support of those who work in  farmer's market, promote our products abroad and create jobs".

The Prime Minister stressed that all support programs introduced, first of all, this year seek to increase the number of livestock, to saturate the market with products made in Ukraine and to create a powerful raw material processing sector.

"This year we compensate 25% of the cost of agricultural machinery, for small farmers - 40%. We  place a special emphasis on livestock sector – 2500 UAH per the young cattle at the age 13 months. Also, the state compensates 25-30% of the cost of the construction of livestock breeding complexes. We want to support you! ", Volodymyr Groysman emphasized.

He urged farmers to participate more actively in the support programs, because they allow to significantly reduce the production process and to direct  resources towards  development and to receive new growth opportunities.

"In the first quarter, Ukraine's economy grew by 3.1%, export of agricultural products increased by 49%. This means that  there is a great demand for our products in the world markets, thus  we also have to create added value", the Head of Government added.

Apart from that, the Prime Minister talked to representatives of large  agribusiness in the region, and also visited Chikanivsky family, who participates in the state support program for young stock. "For me, the essential thing to ensure that the Government support is tangible. I have always respected  working people  and you can count on me ",  Volodymyr Groysman stressed appealing to the head of the family Petro  Chikanovsky.
