Stepan Kubiv inked an Agreement with the OECD on deepening cooperation

In June 15, 2018, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine/ Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv  and Deputy Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Mari Kiviniemi signed the renewal of the OECD-Ukraine Memorandum of Understanding.

"We highly praise the cooperation with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, as we receive a significant expert support for the most ambitious targets in key areas of reforms: fighting corruption, reforming public administration and ensuring the rule of law, as well as investment and business climate improvement", Stepan Kubiv emphasized.

The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed that cooperation with the OECD is an important tool for assessing the competitive positions  of the national economy.

"Ukraine is ready to join the Recommendation of the OECD Council on Effective Public Investment Across Levels of Government in order to implement the reform of public investment in Ukraine. We also stand ready to continue the measures on Ukraine's accession to the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits  as well as to join the working group on export credits and credit guarantees", Stepan Kubiv underscored.
