  • Dutch Foreign Minister assures Dmytro Kuleba that Ukraine won’t be left alone against the background of escalation by Russia

    Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba spoke by phone with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Stef Blok. 

    Dmytro Kuleba informed his counterpart about the latest actions of the Russian Federation: the destabilization of the security situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and attempts to disrupt the peace process, the accumulation of Russian troops along the Ukrainian border. He also gave assurances of Ukraine's commitment to a political-diplomatic settlement. 

    Stef Blok expressed concern over Russia's actions and confirmed that the Netherlands would continue to support Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity: "Ukraine is not alone." The ministers discussed preparations for the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on 19 April, which Ukrainian Foreign Minister was also invited to take part in. 

    The interlocutors also considered the preparations for the inaugural summit of the Crimea Platform.
