Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba spoke by phone with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Ivan Korčok.

The key topic of the conversation was the aggravation of the security situation by the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and in Crimea.

Dmytro Kuleba briefed Ivan Korčok about the increase of Russia's military presence along the Russian-Ukrainian border, the intensification of shelling of Ukrainian positions and civilian infrastructure near the contact line, and Russia's unwillingness to reaffirm its commitment to the ceasefire.

The Slovak Foreign Minister gave assurances of the unconditional support by the newly formed Slovak government of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine against the background of Russia's destabilizing actions.

Ivan Korčok also expressed his country's readiness to join the work of the Crimea Platform.
