In the framework of preparations for the heating season, the Head of Government got acquainted with the operation of a boiler house that provides heat supply for one of the city's districts. With the support of Switzerland, a reconstruction project was implemented here, which allowed to reduce annual gas consumption and carbon emissions.
"Energy efficiency should become a mandatory parameter of Ukraine's new energy infrastructure. This is not only a part of our European integration aspirations, but also a step towards building a developed and successful state," Denys Shmyhal said.
The Prime Minister also heard information from the region's leadership on the progress of preparations for the autumn-winter season and the state of repair of the networks.
