In July 2024, Ukraine exported almost USD 3 billion worth of goods to foreign markets. In particular, a new record was set in the steel industry - 219,000 tonnes of semi-finished iron products were exported by Ukraine in July, the best performance since the war.
"Ukraine exported almost USD 3 billion worth of goods in July this year. At the same time, the physical volume of exports in July is 0.6% lower than in June, which is due to the seasonal change in exported crops. Overall, Ukrainian exports increased by 9% in July compared to the previous month. The EU remains Ukraine's major trading partner, with 56% of Ukraine's exports going to European markets. China, Egypt, Turkey and India, as well as the Mediterranean countries, are the leading importers of Ukrainian products outside the European Union. In particular, the development of a network of free trade agreements with the Mediterranean countries is a priority for the Government," said Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine - Trade Representative of Ukraine.
