The macroeconomic situation in Ukraine is stable, and the banking system is operating reliably and smoothly, despite a full-scale war, the shutdown of enterprises, the destruction of major enterprises in eastern Ukraine. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said in an interview with the RBC Ukraine.

"When the war broke out, military risks emerged, thereby putting pressure on the hryvnia, but the competent policy of the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank has allowed to stabilize the situation," said the Prime Minister.

Moreover, according to Denys Shmyhal, neither investors operating in Ukraine nor the population are in a panic.

"The world is surprised, sometimes even shocked by such a patriotic attitude of Ukrainians to their economy, confidence in the banking system and the fact that we did not allow it to collapse, we did not even let it shake," said the Prime Minister.
