Since the beginning of 2024, businesses have received 23,556 soft loans under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme totalling UAH 88.4 billion, and 102,500 loans worth UAH 355.3 billion since the programme was launched in February 2020. Last week, Ukrainian entrepreneurs received 633 soft loans worth UAH 2.4 billion.
"Since the beginning of the full-scale war with russia, businesses have mostly used the funds of the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme to replenish working capital. After the Government focused the terms of the programme on the development of the real sector of the economy, Ukrainian businesses are spending more and more of the available funding on the development of processing production and investment purposes. This stimulates the expansion of production and the creation of new jobs. The programme also supports businesses operating in high-risk areas," said Deputy Minister of Economy Andrii Teliupa.
Under the programme, businesses received:
UAH 21.8 billion for processing;
UAH 21.6 billion to replenish working capital;
UAH 20.6 billion for lending in the high-risk military zone;
UAH 18.6 billion for investment loans.
The most commonly lent businesses are those operating in agriculture, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade.
Among the regions, the leaders in terms of loan agreements are Lviv, Dnipro, Odesa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava regions and the city of Kyiv.
Currently, 46 banks participate in the programme.
