Germany's assistance to Ukraine has totalled EUR 37 billion. This is the largest amount among all European countries. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during the VII Ukrainian-German Business Forum, taking place in Berlin on 11 December with the participation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

 The Head of the Ukrainian Government also noted that 53 investment guarantees had been provided for German projects in Ukraine, totalling almost EUR 382 million.

"I sincerely thank the German business community for their faith in Ukraine. After the full-scale invasion, not a single German company has left the Ukrainian market. Moreover, many German companies continue to invest in Ukraine," the Prime Minister stressed.

In addition, during the forum, Chancellor Olaf Scholff confirmed that Germany would provide our country with the sixth IRIS-T air defence system and Patriot launchers by the end of the year. 

"Security is an important factor for the stable operation of businesses and investment attraction," said Denys Shmyhal and thanked the German Government for its contribution to strengthening the security of our country and for the state investment and export guarantee programmes for businesses operating in the Ukrainian market.
