Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo join government initiative to provide targeted assistance
The Government continues to ensure the provision of targeted assistance to those who need it most – people with disabilities and lone pensioners. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
“I met with the leadership of the Naftogaz Group, Energoatom, and Ukrhydroenergo to expand this assistance. The Naftogaz Group continues to provide the relevant support. As of today, Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo are also joining this initiative. In addition to Kyiv and the Kyiv region, assistance will be provided in regions where the situation is particularly difficult, including frontline regions,” said the Head of Government.
As of now, the first 10,000 packages provided by the Naftogaz Group have already been distributed in districts of Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Each package contains items to help people get through the cold period, stay warm, remain connected, and charge medical devices.
