Ten years ago, the State Land Cadastre received the first applications for state registration of land plots.
In general, during the period of functioning of the State Land Cadastre, information was entered into the system, in particular, about
- land within the territories of administrative-territorial units and land within the territories of territorial communities with a total area of more than 3,112,100 hectares (10,245 settlements and one territorial community)
- 1,179 restrictions on land use with a total area of 486,870 hectares;
- 24,416,035 land plots with a total area of 43,224,030 hectares;
- 776,274,076 km of the state border of Ukraine.
In addition, access to the data of the State Land Cadastre was provided to more than 11,000 users, including 5,433 notaries, 2,518 certified land surveyors, 1,254 public authorities, 1,043 Centers for the Administrative Services Provision of and local governments.
As of today, the State Land Cadastre interacts with urban planning cadastre, cadastres of other natural resources and other information systems held by the NSDCU, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ministry of Infrastructure, NACP, State Tax Service and other state authorities of Ukraine.
Currently, the State Land Cadastre ensures, first of all, the exercise of the rights of land owners and land users, regulation of land relations and land resources management, organization of rational use and protection of land, land management, control over the use and protection of land, etc.
Background information
The State Land Cadastre started functioning in Ukraine on 1 January 2013. Its implementation was envisaged by the Law of Ukraine "On State Land Cadastre" adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 7, 2011.
