On 23 March, over 63 thousand people and 13 thousand vehicles crossed the state border of Ukraine with the EU and the Republic of Moldova. Over the past few days, passenger traffic has remained stable.
Yesterday, over 43 thousand people left Ukraine. Over 28 thousand of them crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border. Currently, there are no queues of pedestrians and vehicles in all directions. We also recommend selecting border crossing points of Ukraine with Slovakia, Romania, and the Republic of Moldova for the border crossing to the EU.
Yesterday, over 19 thousand people arrived in Ukraine, almost 16 thousand of whom are Ukrainians. Most of them are men who came back to defend our Homeland. We are grateful to our compatriots! Overall, since the beginning of the overt armed aggression, over 386 thousand of our countrymen have returned to Ukraine.
We recommend that you monitor the density of the checkpoints traffic for the border crossing to the EU and the Republic of Moldova (in the Bukovyna region) by following the Facebook page of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service - Western border. The information is updated every two hours.
We remind you that all checkpoints on the western border (except “Dzvinkove”) are open around the clock. In addition to clearance of people and vehicles, border guards, together with customs officials, also handle humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian army and our compatriots. Yesterday, 760 vehicles with humanitarian aid were processed at the Western borders.
