State Support-2019: Almost UAH 80 million has already been transferred to Ukrainian agricultural producers to compensate interest on loans

As of August 30, the sum worth UAH 80.69 million was actually directed to structural subdivisions of the regional state administrations to compensate interest on the loans. In particular, UAH 78.94 million has already been transferred to borrowers.

Thus, the largest sums of compensation were accrued to agricultural producers of Vinnytsia (UAH 7.14 million), Kyiv (UAH 6.84 million), Cherkasy (UAH 6.64 million), Khmelnytsky (UAH 5.40 million), Poltava (UAH 5.15 million) ), Kharkiv (UAH 5.04 million), Sumy (UAH 4.18 million), Dnipropetrovsk (UAH 4.09 million) and Chernihiv (UAH 4.06 million) regions.

In total, over the reporting period, 405 agricultural producers raised credits on preferential terms to the tune of UAH 3.85 billion.

Background

The Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2019" of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food provides for expenditures of the General Fund in the amount of UAH 127.1 million.
