According to the State Statistics Service, in January-July 2019 the average monthly wage in agriculture (per employee) amounted to UAH 8,388, which is by 23.9% more than during the similar period of 2018 when the wage amounted to UAH 6,770.

Moreover, during the reporting period, the average monthly wage grew by 20.5% in the food industry, amounting to UAH 9,608 (as compared to UAH 7,973 in 2018).

Apart from that, in July the average wage in agriculture amounted to UAH 9,850, which is by 12.8% more than in June (UAH 8,735). In the food industry, the average wage in July upped by 7.9% to UAH 10,654 (UAH 9,869 in June).
