State compensated entrepreneurs UAH 56 million for employment of 2,500 IDPs since the beginning of 2025

The state has paid UAH 56 million to employers under the compensation programme for the employment of 2,500 internally displaced persons since the beginning of 2025. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy Tetiana Berezhna.

“Since the beginning of this year, 1,500 employers have received compensation from the Government for the employment of 2,500 Ukrainians who were forced to move from dangerous regions of the country. 126 of them are people with disabilities. Entrepreneurs were compensated a total of UAH 56 million. Thanks to the financial support for employers through this programme, we help internally displaced people find a job faster, adapt to their new place of residence and be able to provide for themselves and their families,” said Tatiana Berezhna.

Most internally displaced persons were employed under this programme in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkiv regions and Kyiv.

The amount of compensation paid to an employer for hiring a person who received IDP status after 24 February 2022 is UAH 8,000.
