Denys Shmyhal: Digital solutions in the energy sector come to the fore in preparations for the coming winter
First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with senior officials responsible for digital transformation (CDTOs) to discuss digitalization priorities in the energy sector.
During the meeting, participants reviewed key areas of digital transformation that are strategically important for enhancing the energy sector’s resilience and preparing for the upcoming fall-winter period.
Among the main priorities are as follows:
- digital integration into the European Energy Space;
- strengthening cybersecurity of energy infrastructure;
- developing digital tools for transparency and attracting investment;
- introducing convenient digital services for citizens.
“In all these and many other processes, the CDTO must act as strategic leaders of change—to make the state innovative and strong, and to direct it towards the interests of the people,” noted Denys Shmyhal.
The Minister of Energy thanked the meeting participants for the fruitful dialogue and expressed hope for further effective collaboration.
