"The need for building this bridge crossing in Kherson appeared 14 years ago, and the project is still not completed. Now it is fulfilled by 20%. The President has set a clear task - to wind up the first phase of the project by the middle of next year. Presently, we are working with MPs to find additional tools to finance this overpass. The Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration has taken the process under personal control and works with this issue on a daily basis," Denys Shmyhal stressed.
The PM emphasized that the road structures are overriding part of the presidential program "Great Construction", and residents of Kherson should see the final result as soon as possible.
"There is a unique opportunity to finally kick off and successfully complete the most important infrastructure projects for the development of communities, villages, cities and regions. I believe that we will definitely be able to build a truly European infrastructure in Ukraine, " the Head of Government underscored.
