Decentralization is an example of a new approach to decision-making for which there is public demand, says Volodymyr Groysman
A Governmental reform aimed to strengthen local governments - decentralization - is an example of a new approach to decision-making, for which there exists a great demand within the society. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated in an interview with SK-1 TV company in Zhytomyr.
According to the PM, presently, during the pre-election period, one can notice substitution of notions within the state when people are keen for change, but they are offered new personalities, who are often even unfamiliar. Instead, real change is not a person, but approaches that make it possible to introduce the much sought-after quality of life, assures Volodymyr Groysman.
"We need new approaches to solving complex problems. When we are foisted certain views instead of answering complex questions that some new faces are necessary, I have questions: who are those new personalities, or are they capable of solving problems?" urged Volodymyr Groysman. "What is a new approach? Decentralization is a new approach to governance. The New Ukrainian School is a new approach to education. That’s what is necessary to launch transformations in the quality of life."
