One of the regional aviation centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will station in Chernivtsi, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov announced November 3 during a working visit to Bukovyna.

"We have embarked on a large helicopter project. It is based on a new system of interaction between all services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is a service and security for ordinary citizens. Within two years this system will work throughout the country. Among the essential objectives are the protection of the border, especially at sea, providing special functions of firefighters, police officers and guards. One of the regional centers of the aviation security system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be located in Chernivtsi", Arsen Avakov said.

According to him, policemen, rescuers and border guards will work in the center.

Moreover, he added that this year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs units would get first four helicopters of the French Airbus Helicopters.

It should be noted that Airbus will provide support to Ukraine, until the agency's aviation security system is fully operational.
