Andrii Sybiha to pay visit to Canada

On November 11-12, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha is scheduled to visit Canada to participate in a meeting of G7 Foreign Ministers at the invitation of his Canadian counterpart Anita Anand.

The Foreign Minister is to participate in thematic meetings on the development of defense cooperation and increasing pressure on russia with the participation of the G7 countries and the European Union, as well as meetings on maritime security and strengthening energy and economic resilience with the participation of the G7 countries, the EU, and invited states - India, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, Australia, and Mexico.

Andrii Sybiha will hold separate ministerial talks in the Ukraine-France-Germany-Italy format.

During his stay in Canada, bilateral talks are also planned between the Ukrainian Foreign Minister and his counterparts from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Brazil, and India.

The key topics of the Minister's talks and speeches will be increasing support for Ukraine to overcome russian aggression and restore peace, stepping up sanctions pressure and isolation of the aggressor, full use of frozen russian assets, strengthening Ukraine's energy security against the backdrop of russian terror, and additional investments in the development of Ukraine's defense-industrial complex, strengthening institutional and defense capabilities.
