Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Head of the Liberal Democratic Party’s Political Research Council Kobayashi Takayuki in Tokyo.

"During our meeting with Kobayashi Takayuki, Head of the Liberal Democratic Party’s Political Research Council, we discussed shared security challenges and prospects for deeper Ukraine–Japan cooperation.

Ukraine and Japan face a common strategic environment, including threats stemming from russia’s aggression and destabilizing activities by North Korea.

This common understanding necessitates a mutually beneficial partnership in the field of security. We also spoke about ways to develop our bilateral political dialogue.

I thanked Japan for its unwavering support for Ukraine".
