Aimed to speed up the recovery process, Government exempts businesses whose property was damaged by russian shelling from inspections

To speed up recovery efforts, the Cabinet of Ministers has granted exemptions from inspections for the property of businesses affected by russian shelling. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

From now on, inspections will not be conducted on real estate that meets the following criteria:

- has been destroyed or damaged as a result of hostilities;

- is located in areas of active or potential hostilities or in temporarily occupied territories;

- is situated on land deemed risky for agriculture or in areas contaminated or likely contaminated with explosive ordnance.

Consequently, inspections will not be conducted on tens of thousands of properties.

“Businesses will focus on recovery rather than on going through inspection procedures,” noted the Head of Government. “At the same time, state oversight remains in place where people’s lives and health, environmental protection, national security, and the fulfillment of international obligations are at stake.”

Other support programs for businesses affected by shelling remain in effect:

- A new affordable loan program to help businesses recover, offering up to UAH 150 million at 0.1% interest for the first two years—as part of the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% program. The program triggered yesterday, July 1. For more details:

- Insurance premium reimbursement of up to UAH 3 million for all regions and compensation for losses of up to UAH 30 million for frontline regions. Applications can be submitted through Diia.Business or the EKA platform:
