Andrii Sybiha held phone talks with Minister for Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation of Spain José Manuel Albares

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha had phone talks with Minister for Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation of Spain José Manuel Albares.  

Andrii Sybiha xommented: "I spoke with my Spanish colleague José Manuel Albares following Russia's latest brutal attack on Ukraine. I thanked José Manuel for his words of solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people.

I briefed my colleague on the latest battlefield developments and stressed the urgent need to strengthen Ukraine's ability to protect its skies.

We also discussed Ukraine's EU accession. I thanked Spain for its steadfast support and underscored the importance of opening the remaining negotiating clusters without delay.

We agreed to remain in close contact and continue working together to strengthen Ukraine's security and advance our common European future".
