  • ARMA traced assets worth over UAH 8 billion and more than 2,000 items of property in February this year

    In February 2023, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) processed 1,452 requests for asset tracing and identification, which is almost 5 times more than in the same period of 2022.

    As a result, last month, ARMA traced equity stakes and funds worth about 8.1 billion in UAH equivalent.

    Besides, during the reporting period, the National Agency has tracked down 1,876 items of property, including:

    • 839 units of motor vehicles;
    • 465 residential and non-residential real estate assets;
    • 266 land plots;
    • 149 units of agricultural machinery with components;
    • 84 intellectual property rights;
    • 74 items of intangible assets;
    • 42 units of other property (goods);
    • 6 units of sea/river transport.

    The National Agency provided information on the assets to law enforcement agencies and the Ministry of Justice within the framework of criminal proceedings and the sanctions mechanism, respectively. Assets sought in criminal cases may be further seized, transferred to ARMA, and confiscated. At the same time, property sought by the National Agency at the request of the Ministry of Justice in accordance with the Law on Sanctions may be recovered in favor of the State by a decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
