Today, on January 31, the Cabinet of Ministers, on the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, appointed a new member - a representative of the Government on the Suprevisory Board of SE Ukroboronprom Dr. Anthony J. Tether.

Dr.Tether served as Director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) from 2001 until 2009. He was responsible for management of the Agency's projects for high-payoff, innovative research and development projects.

Anthony Tether is a member on several Advisory and Corporate Boards, and is a Distinguished Fellow with the Council on Competitiveness (Washington, D.C.). Dr. Tether has served on the Army, Navy and Defense Science Boards, and on the Office of National Drug Control Policy Research and Development Committee. He received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

From August 2016, Anthony Tether has been implementing management projects on long-term development in the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine.

It is noteworthy to mention that on January 23, 2018, Mykhailo Zgurovsky, Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", was elected as Chairman of the Suprevisory Board of SE Ukroboronprom.
