The growth of economy, determined as a key benchmark for the Government, requires the formation of favorable business environment in Ukraine, as well as bringing about fundamental changes in the system of state supervision and regulation. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said during a Government sitting dedicated to considering deregulation issues.

He stressed that Government had undertaken initial steps on the path towards transformation. "Regular meetings with business are never left without response, I am always ready to help and provide necessary assistance to remove any problems for business," assured Volodymyr Groysman, "However, one thing is particular cases, the other is system government decisions that won’t allow anyone to exert pressure on business."

Among recent initiatives is approved by the Verkhovna Rada law to prevent violations of rights by law enforcement agencies titled The Mask Show Stop. "And today we are to repeal another 300 acts, thereby changing old practices, and preventing and making any public racketeering impossible," the Head of Government urged, "I also emphasize heads of executive authorities bear personal responsibility while exercising controlling functions. I will side with entrepreneurs and honest businesses, and I will work hard to protect them. We need economic upturn exceeding 3%, but if we create support programs and you (officials) create obstacles behind the scenes, we will adopt relevant decisions to punish such officials."
